An old family portrait, repaired and gently brought to life

Made for a short timeline

Services are arranged in days, not weeks. Everything here is built around that.

01
Ready the same day
Thirty to ninety minutes from start to finish. No quote to wait for and no one to chase — which matters when the service is tomorrow and the day is already full.
02
Old and damaged photographs are welcome
Creases, scratches and fading are repaired. Black-and-white portraits are coloured. Every picture is sharpened and then given gentle movement, so faces look as they were remembered rather than as the paper survived.
03
A clear price, paid once
$25.00 for 20 photographs, $60.00 for 48. No packages and no subscription. More photographs simply make a longer film.

The album is usually the first thing the family looks for.

Somewhere in the house there is an album that has not been opened in years, and in the days after a death it is almost always found and passed around a kitchen table. Those photographs are enough. They do not need to be scanned, sorted or repaired first — that is what this does, and the film comes back the same day.

Who this is for

Families arranging something quickly, with what they have.

A memorial service or celebration of life, where something needs to be shown.
A shiva, a wake, or an evening at home when relatives gather.
An anniversary of a death, when the family want to sit with it again.
Relatives abroad who cannot come, and should still be able to watch.

What is asked of you

Only the photographs, and the order they should be told in.

1
Gather the photographs
Prints can be photographed with a phone, straight from the album — that is enough. Between 20 and 48, arranged however you would like the story to run.
2
Choose music and write a dedication
Select a piece from the library or upload one that belonged to them. A few words of dedication open the film.
3
The film arrives by email
Within 30 to 90 minutes, ready to play at a service, at home, or to send to family who cannot be there.

An example

Made from ordinary family photographs — some damaged, some black and white.

Questions people ask

The service is tomorrow. Is that possible?

Yes. The film is finished 30 to 90 minutes after you order, at any hour. It is the reason most people find this page.

The only photographs we have are very old.

Those are usually the ones worth showing. Damage is repaired, faded prints are sharpened, and black-and-white portraits are coloured before anything else is done. Upload them exactly as they are.

Can it be played at the service?

It arrives as a standard video file that plays on a phone, a laptop or a television, and can be sent on to family. Nothing to install.

Who sees the photographs?

No one. They are processed to make your film, the finished video is sent only to you, and the photographs are deleted afterwards.

When you are ready.

The photographs are enough. Everything after that is ours to do.
